what happens

i just finished my first day of work.
i can't believe it but i'm actually thankful Mango's staff. what they taught me have helped me understood what the 15 mins of briefing i went through on first day.

anyways, in total i made 4 sales today! to a Thai girl and her mom, an eccentric middle aged lady, a classic punk rocker lady and the Korean couple.
the Thai girl was squealling over the items on display, esp the shorts. but her mom was scary she actually poked my sides to get my attention. (like touch much eh?)
the Korean couple were the best! i scared them coz i was standing right behind the husband who was helping his heavily pregnant wife to choose the proper size for her slippers! in the end, i helped them with them speeaking korean-english and me trying to understand them as much as i can with my very little korean language. oh and the husband's accent is hot! haha.
ahh, the eccentric lady should have just pulled me in the fitting room and just do her "bare essentials" runway walk. she keeps asking me to checkif it(the low-waist shorts) suits her and that meant a 2nd experience of Mr Juraimi's ballet tights all over again! (my eyes were still red from the dettol wash it went through last time!)

ony my way home, this guys abused his BO authority. of all powers to abuse, one must highly put others into perspective especially if you carry such great responsibilities with you!
this man on the train, he purposely stood in front of this man's seat and raised his arms and kind of just let it "air-dry". so poor, unfortunate soul who was seated at that seat had to move away because he could not endure it.

moral of the story: DO NOT abuse thy BO's power. it's like aunt jane said, "with great BO, comes great responsibility!"

listen closely

i see it all in red.

Mood: is xenophobia still around?
Listening to: Daniel Merriweather - Red

^i like this song!
(a perfect love gone sour)

today, i saw District 9 with one of my close friends! it was a good show. it opened my eyes to our instinct, that human behaviour.
we crave to have everything, even if forbidden even if it will endanger other or even ourselves! just for the sake of having it. that greed.
it destroys us inside.
did you know that Greed is the root of all evil?
it was never about the money anyway.
it's been always about wanting more and when you got more, you just want more of it. coveting even your won neighbours! it sickens me to think it's in us.

of course, we can tame it. our human minds are stronger than possibly imagine.

we can block off emotions. yes, we can. have you ever heard about people who suffer from trauma? well, that's one of the proofs that our human mind is complicated, too deep for us to understand sometimes.
we can also cover our true initial feelings. i can be talking happily to one person and complain about something to another.

============================================================
stop taking things for granted. time will come and put it behind you. and it will be at that moment that you will regret it. you would hope that you had not complain for it being too late, always thinking that it'd be here to catch you like a fireman's basket.

not everything is as it seems. there's always a difference between that two coloured rock. swe can overcome this if we stop considering the pretty colour only but consider the other. because if you scratch underneath that surface i'm pretty sure you'll only get a rock too. coz apparently you can't.
