i saw a light in the attic and it was you who was looking out

i'll be the belle of the castle.

mood: content
listening to: disney soundtrack

if i have to use one word to describe my first ever hong kong experience,
it would be:

AWESOME

the food, the places, the weather, the people...

wow...
i really don't mind going there again.
maybe add it in the list of places to visit annually.
instead of just visiting phil all the time.

hmm.
first 2 days were spent at disneyland.
i knew that as soon as i step in i'd be forgetting that i officially turned nineteen at that time.
and i was right!
i ran around like a little girl in paradise.
of course, nothing beats my disneyworld experience at florida,
but this second disney experience at this age still managed to get to me.
i was escastic to spend the whole day there!
there was the disney parade at mainstreet which was awesome.
i was the only one dancing and singing along to every song.
people seriously should just put down their cameras for a while and enjoy the live performance being given to them!
sheesh, there's not much good crowds nowadays.

oh yeah, i met gabriel. =)
the love of my life... sigh. if only, right.

oh yes, space mountain was horribly great.
horribly because it gave me a 3 minute dizzy spell,
great because it was amazing and awesome.
it was the first thrilling ride i got since star city's roller coaster and hulla spin.
ok, actually the taxi driver's driving skills that got us from hkia to disney resort hotel was one mad ride itself but it was really a ride.

then the fireworks that put the fullstop in awesome.
it was amazing and beautiful.
i had an amazing nineteen years flashback watching the sky light up above me.
i swear, i actually thought that if any of those fireworks back fires and hit me,
i'd die happily.

it was one of the most amazing birthday ever!

then the third day was spent at oceanpark, kowloon, and the avenue of stars.
i took a picture with bruce lee!
i can't wait to upload the pictures, actually my sister and father will be doing the uploading.
i have no idea how to do that and too lazy to learn how to.

oceanpark, the dolphins there were great.
except this nagging thought of mine keep replaying,
"imagine if you are the one who was forced to do that every single day, would you be happy?"
and there's the thought
"and for punishment, what would they do to the animals?"

kowloon, the city's nightlife was colourful.
the food... awesome!
the harbour's lights were cool.
after this, i was inspired to know the cantonese people and their language.
and of course, inspired to write especially after the disney experience.

the following morning, i went up the peak via the tram.
it gave me neck aches after a while.
saw some colourful japanese dudes and conquered my fear of heights.
i don't really have a fear but i do get slightly nervous approaching the edge of the building lined with protective glass panels.

oh and i must mention!
the people they got playing the princesses are very beautiful.
they are the epitome of a disney princess.
even alice from wonderland was pretty and she did remind me of alice.
and i almost turned prince charming for snow white.
she has the most beautiful brown almond eyes i've ever seen...

at the end of the week,
i feel blessed for that wonderful and awesome experience.
i really wish to go there again!
